beauty of islam

so i have not included me being a hijaabista  in my profile WHY? you may ask... well I didn't think it would be necessary  either way I'm telling you now... so I've been muslim all my life but i never really saw the beauty of Islam (and when I say beauty I'm talking about pure magnificent beauty,) until a couple of years ago.For me the beauty of Islam is summarised in  one single verse.
That verse being in Surah Zalzalah (99) -The earthquake verse 7
"whoever does an atoms weight of good deeds will see it"
here we being encouraged to do basically any act of good which sometimes could be the simplest thing like telling the person you see wearing something you dying to have they look good in it. Not only do we make this persons day but we get rewarded for that.To me that the most IDEAL win win situation lol I could go around complimenting thousands of people:D To most us of this this would be something insignificant but sometimes one small act of kindness could save a life...mwah salams

beautiful, phenomal women.... thats what we are by definition

Being my first post I was naturally nervous as is if you doing anything new since your first impression sets the standard that people view you by....

I decided that of all the things I could write about I was going to write about the worth of a women. (Yes, I'm in the women empowering mode) and I'm studying for my Aqeedah (belief) exam for Tuesday. I was studying what the Quraan says about embryology Subhaan Allah (Glory be to God)!
We females are amazing!!! To be able to carry a human life in our bodies and still do our everyday chores....cooking, cleaning, friend, daughter, wife, work. Simply put, we are the super heroes of modern day. To be able to go through a remarkable change not only physically but emotionally and psychologically  and yet are able to maintain the roles we took on before this remarkable journey began.
Unfortunately I've seen so many sisters degrade themselves simply because they lost their sense of worth. Its sad and scary for me to see this yet its something Ive seen numerous times. And I have to admit sometimes Im part of these sisters. So at times when I feel like I have forgotten my worth I sit myself down and listen to self empowering poems like Maya Angelou's "Phenomenal Women" or I listen to Boonaa Muhammads poem called "beautiful". Some how through the grace of Allah these things give me the strength to go on. So I have taken the time out to upload Brother Boonaa's poem video for all of you lovely ladies.

Dear sisters always remember that no matter what people say and regardless of how difficult our situation is each one of us in our unique way are beautiful phenomenal women.

p.s the image quality isn't that good but hey its the words that count

lets keep smiling its a sunnah
